At first I wondered if the other door said “Yes” rather than the traditional In/Out signs. Then it occurred to me there was probably a number on the other door indicating the street address. Then I wondered why I was overthinking this.
I’m following your blog since long time back.
I’m always amused by your way of showing the pictures, the mood and your sense of the city.
But this one…
This one for me is truly what photography is al about. The way it is framed, the form of the letters that make the word, for me, it really seems that someone just slammed the door. I can hear quite clearly the sound of the word happening at the same time as the closing door.
All this came to my mind immediately after looking to this image. As a fellow photographer all this was very rewarding.
And then… l saw the title. OMG this is is just perfect! Although obvious it is at the same time so ironic.
What a great photo and what a great title.
Thank you very much. You made my day today.

LOVE KATE’S COMMENT: THAT’S RIGHT, WHY AM I OVERTHINKING WHAT COULD THAT “No.” BE?…
BY THE WAY, THE GEOMETRY OF THIS IJ JUST PERFECT. “No.” INCLUDED

I like your interpretation best.
haha. i actually thought you added the No. later on…
I’m imagining that the right hand door says “Way.”
In this economic time I suggest: “No Money”
