I agree with you. It takes a different mindset to document other people’s misery. Glad to know you all are safe at home. The photos I have seen on the news recently of my old home town are very depressing and worrying.
Damn! I was looking forward with great anticipation to “Joe’s eye view” of this tragic event. But I guess like the saying goes- discretion is the better part of valor. I went and walked across the Brookyn Bridge and around Soho last night. It was eerie. Totally dark and no one around. Streets just empty. Except for the occasional photographer running around. I had anticipated beautifully captured views of those kinds of scenes. And of course those little human moments. But it’s nice to know that you have your priorities straight. But still……..
