Love Crosby Street. Michele Varian flagship store is there. :) It’s amazing how you capture people the way you do without them seeming to notice.

I love the vibrant colors of the flowers on an overcast day.

Juni Moon : People in NYC just don’t care. Not only they do not mind them, in most instances they don’t even see the cameras anymore so there’s many of them all the time. And I tell you this by experience. It is so much easier to photograph people there than it is in a smaller city. And if they notice you, you thank them with a head sign and a smile and they’ll smile back and walk by happily. Now that is not to diminish Joe’s work or to reduce it to a banal event, his sense of timing, his understanding of peoples habits, mimics and whereabouts and mostly his deep respect fotr the people comes though each and every of his pictures. And I’m like you on a point for sure : I’m still amazed too.
