Alain, I think the protest is having more impact than you realize. Tonight’s NBC national news led with OWS and today’s protest for people to move their money from banks to credit unions. (They said that since Bank of America put a 5 dollar charge on debit card transactions 650,000 people have left theri banks for credit unions. I think it’s quite possible that OWS has a hand in making people pay attention.) More often than not it is the lead story. And polls show that 55% of the Ameican public support the movement. I think something is happening here. (To quote the old Buffalo Springfield song).
