I’ve collected all my Occupy Wall Street portraits (103 and counting) into one slide show, One Hundred Portraits from the Occupation.

I think this is your best series to date!

One hundred of them is far more significant that one at a time. The blend of cultures is of an incredible richness. Your portraits are all great, because they bear your street approach, which also fits the event. Hats off Joe ! (well at least my hats).

I second these comments. It’s great work. On pure aesthetic grounds the photos are beautiful but beyond that they are soulful and capture the humanity of this diverse grooup of people. Thank you for capturing aand preserving this important moment in time.

Thanks, everyone! This was (is) a fascinating project for me, and I learned a lot both about the people at Occupy Wall Street, who were uniformly polite and articulate, and about shooting portraits. Depending on my schedule, I may go back for round two.
