This photo reminds me that the America we see on television of big well decorated homes and brand new Range Rovers and so forth doesn’t really exist for too many people. One thing I like about the OWS movement and a lot of Joe’s photos is that we get a reflection of life as it is.

I like how the kitty is nuzzling superman. Look closely.
I’m a cat person and have fallen for that cat. That cat aside, it’s a wonderful moment, from the ring through the protective guy’s lip to the cigarette burned down to the nubbins, none of it wasted, not tossed away prematurely as the 1% might do. What’s another cigarette to them?.
