i walked that park once, by the East river. slightly remote, not crowded, it adds a new layer of impressions to the general mood of the city, as when you get to know someone better and discover something that you could not guess in the beginning.
oh yeah, and i wanted to say that, amplified by the use of a wide lense, the way the bridges part from each other creates a greater distance to Brooklyn than there is really. which is probably something that adds up to the soft paced feeling of the photograph.
