Thanks for this, nicely done.
I’m going to miss knowing he’s in the world.
One of my favorites of his:
To my old brown earth
And to my old blue sky
I’ll now give these last few molecules of “I.”
And you who sing,
And you who stand nearby,
I do charge you not to cry.
Guard well our human chain,
Watch well you keep it strong,
As long as sun will shine.
And this our home,
Keep pure and sweet and green,
For now I’m yours
And you are also mine.
Thanks for this heartfelt image Joe. I was listening to an NPR segment on Mr.Seegar and they played We Shall Overcome. It brought up such memories of being young and hopeful, and believing in a beautiful cause. He was a quality human being!

Thanks, Jacey. It was really fun photographing that show, and getting to meet Seeger very briefly.
