SUCH a great smoke break Wednesday shot! I love how your New York photos capture both the geometry of the city and its intersection/interaction with New Yorkers of all kinds.
Since all the white keys were stolen, the piano player could hid in between the black ones long enough to puff on a complete 100*.
* 100 : were the long-long cigarettes (longer than hte king size ones) called that way in the states ? And I wonder if they still exist at all here in Canada.

I remember those long cigarettes — there were so many television ads promoting them. “Seven minute cigarette – it lasts longer – Pall Mall Gold 100s.” And then there was the 101mm cigarette. Sung to the tune of La Bamba: “A silly millimeter longer / 101s / A silly millimeter longer….”
