As usual, you were in the right place at the right time and wooed the natural light as you do so well…

What makes a picture ? Everything that’s not into it.
It comes from nowhere. It goes nowhere. Yet it is not static.
I like the different sources of light.

I do that sometines : come back to a picture because there’s something I have the feeling is eluding me. A deeper reason that makes me enjoy a picture.

MoMA’s architecture is “hanging” – “weightless”. Your picture seems to tell the same thing. In a language that is totally different.

Lots of people tell me that I do not need to know the reason why I enjoy a picture or dislike it. I argue that if I want to make pictures that I can be happy with, I need to know what makes me happy in them. And sometimes I add that I even need to know what it is telling me and how it is telling me.
