My first thought is how I imagine they flush out the cement trucks. Then again I suppose that’s better than chemical waste. I was glad to read the other day that they are going to be dredging the canal and the polluters are footing the bill.

After walking through Gowanus and across the canal, I’ve been tryin to imagine the Old Stone House sitting by the bucolic creek in the 17th and 18th centuries. And I still can’t come up with a plausible image.
