He knows what he’s doing and has the proper tools for it. I like your shots and processing style. Saw it in many of your pictures. To me it looks in a way that subjects are in the spot of a reflector. Gives scenes a lovely mood.

As long as I have been following these photos, I still can’t decide how much of that subtle spotlight effect is processing vs master-light-finding skills
On the question of natural light vs. post-processing, it’s a bit of each. It’s both finding a subject in the light, but also a matter of moving around so that the lit subject is framed against a dark background, as in this photo. And then I’ll also exaggerate the light with (hopefully subtle) vignetting in Photoshop. Don’t forget, too, that when shooting wide open at f/1.4, the lens adds its own vignetting.
