Oh, this is so awesome. I’ve seen traders on Vietnamese boat markets do this. In Vietnam they uses large machete-like knives to cut those spiral patterns to take out the “knobs” in the pineapple. The end product is like a lollipop, delicious knob-free pineapple on a stick.
