Wow. One can see how you have progressed over the years with your photographic style and technique. This is a fabulous photograph, but I prefer your current work with the tremendous control you have over depth of field and your ability to isolate the unusual and unique.

    I strongly agree with RobertB.
Just now I realized that I have more than 2,800 images. The oldest of 21 February 2002, made by Nikon E800. It’s a big pleasure to observe the progress that seems to have no limits.

My earliest digital photo is from 2012, taken with the twist-body Nikon 4500. As of today, my Aperture library has more than 183,000 images (which doesn’t include the thousands I’ve deleted) taken with my D70, D80, D200, D300, D700, D800 and current D810!

    Really earliest from 20012?
What my picture viewer sees from metadata:
    E800 Feb 2004, E4500 May 2003, D70 Jun 2004, D200 Sep 2006, D80 Jun 2007, D300 May 2008, D700 Jan 2009, D800 Apr 2014.
    What my system sees:
File named 20090108_large jpg in my system has timestamp 2009-01-04 23:10:00 (earlier, maybe copied origin date, not download date)
    Where is an error?

Sorry, my fault — the earliest digital photo in my database is from February 26, 2002, NOT 2012!
