I work in the Flatiron Building and twice a year a team comes in to clean the outside of the windows. Because of the shape of my office they can’t climb out my window so they go out the window of the office next door! They nimbly scramble along the ledge, with no harness and no worry at all, and laugh at my wincing and fearful hand wringing. I’m only on the 5th floor but they tell me they do this regularly for the whole building.
